The fun thing with GIE is, as soon as you are about to capture the 'last' capital or THE capital where all foreign units are located, you will encounter a crapload of units in one province, always a long and fun fight, especially if it's urban.

Wow. How does that work? In response to the Rhineland? It should just happen at that point, then, not randomly some time later.

I think it has something to do with my troops taking a nap on Sicily and Eastern-Libya. But i wanted to conquer the balkans before turning westward. Thats why i only had a defense-force on the siegfried line and the Italians beat me to Paris (well, my troops did all the hard work but through 'Italian teritory'. But for me it doesn't make sense that the UK declared war on me without even the smallest incident in the last months. I mean, sure i anschlussed Austria, Czech and the entirity of Slovakia, but i was not planning to invade Poland in recent months (it was januari 1940 btw, so those winter conditions would only slow me down.
Funny thing is, when the UK declared war on me, Poland was doomed, i don't think the Polish government had that in mind when signing a treaty with the UK!
