I haver a factory producing glass. It is making losses because the glass can't be sold: . I'm not at war, so I should have full access to global market, right?

The details screen for glass says that I'm producing 1,8 glass and my artisans need 36 glass. Why don't they buy it?

At last, there is high demand for glass on the global market:

Can please somebody explain why my glass isn't sold?

So here comes the question - is demmand calculated just as a wish or only for people whe have real money ?
I've heard it was fixed in some patch, but situation you described seems to be saying something opposite.

There is so much confusion surrounding this topic. I know the likes of Naselus have bluntly stated that demand is real. But knowing the exact calculation would be very helpful. For instance, is demand equivalent to what a POP purchased yesterday? Or is it calculated based on nominal demand and wealth? How does the calculation handle super demand of luxury goods (especially concerning the cap)?

Or is this too much information for the rest of us to know?

It leaves the question how it can be that there is high demand on the global market (which means not all buyers get what they want, doesn't it?) while my factory is unable to sell the output.

Numbers on global market screen say that all glass offered has been sold! So did my factory not offer it's glass or are the numbers wrong?
At least they are misleading.

I'm playing AHD 2.3 beta.

Your artisans don't have enough money to buy it?

How much money is needed to buy those 1.8 units of glass - nearly nothing? 30% of my artisans can afford luxury goods (and many of them produce wine) so I guess they should be able to buy glass. In fact I'll have to check whether glass was imported or not!

I'm going to see this as a bug.

Naselus explained it to me. In short: There are tiny pops all over the world that want to buy 0.01 glass or so. Then they have to buy it in equal parts from all parties offering glass (maybe 100) so they buy 0.0001 glass from my factory. The game can't handle such little transactions and cuts them to zero. IOn the end those transactions add up to the 0.7 glass not sold by my factory. If I understand it right this problem won't be noticeable numbers are bigger.
