It kind of doesn't make sense because wouldn't the English want to Anglicanise the French instead of Frankifying?

Why does England become French during the process of the Angevin Missions?

Because the Angevins (Plantagenet) were French, from Anjou.
The nobility in England Was very french until the Reforms of eduard iii, and also later the french throne had more Prestige. The goal of the angevin empire was to create an french not an english realm. Also in case of population and economy french was way stronger. An anglicasation of the french was not possibly

This is already the case, you can culture convert french provinces to english

The English language and culture had already been influence to some extent by the French nobility. Had England won the 100 years war then the French throne would've taken priority over the English throne. The capital of the combined realm would've almost certainly been Paris too. So that French influence on England would've intensified and been maintained for a longer period of time.

I don't know if this was just in my history books, but the historiographical view I grew up on was: The Kings of England may have lost the HYW, but by losing their French territories, England itself won it, forcing their monarchy to actually embrace English culture.

The Angevin Empire was a melding of English, French and Brythonic culture. By the time of the Angevin however, the Byrthonic culture had been mostly consumed by pressure and influence from France and the subjugation of Wales by the English had practically absorbed it. And English culture at the time was also heavily influenced by the French, after all the Plantagenets were descendants of the Ducal Crown of Normandy.

England, and English, were considered the backwater of Europe at the time of EU4.
So, if they won the HYW, they would have spent more time/focus in Paris which was pretty much the next best thing behind Rome/Constantinople and French was literally the Lingua Franca of Europe.
If anything, at the very most, London would have been a nature trading centre while Paris would be the cultural/political - ergo English turns in Anglois

I mainly asked this because after reading this thread I want to know if converting Paris to English culture is an oxymoron
Because french culture was culture of elites and cilizated folks.
English culture was culture dirty folks from lesser classes, half-slaves.

Ironic how England was considered French but had the name England. Shouldn't the cultures of the starting ruler be French?
England = Land of the Angles. If the Angevin throne did end up winning the HYW then maybe the name of the country would have eventually changed.
The Anglicanization path is Great Britain. The Angevin path is the Frankification path.
