Why do we quit CK2?

E) Not enough to do, building takes too long, finding claims is too much work (navigating dialog windows), war is tedious and too mouse-clicky, and conquering the world yet again is the only valid goal I can find for myself. What else is there? I dont get aroused from "forming a dynasty" if that means getting 4 useless allies, a possible claim in 30 years, and more relatives I dont care for.

A year passes in too short a time to notice on my game unless there's a war I have to micro. Play at full speed and pause when something happens.

Also, something that makes the game enjoyable is to read your character traits and do what they'd do. You'll always have a unique experience that way.

Namely, I've never played CK before now and I tend to make very VERY bad decisions that come to bite me in the future.

For reasons unbeknownst, my oven doesn't seem to be overly keen on running CK2 with the beautiful characters, and a couple of other auxiliary mods.

E) Because I want to declare war, but I can't face the mechanics of raising and combining all my forces together right now.

This one. My main reason for not starting another war and going to bed is tedious task of troop assembly. Playing as the Empire of Britannia, if they would just add in a button that lets me load all levies onto the ships instead of one by one then troop assembly would be a breeze.

I quit because a hundred years in the vassals become a massive headache. You can't control them, and it's not fun spending all my time trying to fix all their stupidity and put my kingdom back the way it's supposed to be. And then dealing with the mass revolts from being called a tyrant. The only way to play this game that's not a headache is to have a tiny little dukedom with only mayors and bishops as your vassals. I'll go back to Eu3/Vic2/HoI3 where the game actually follows your commands.

I mean, honestly, is there any way to stop all the bloody heirs to the duchies and counties in my country from marrying each other? Every 20 years I've got to kill a dozen people or revoke titles all over the place and reassign them to new characters. Can't build anything because all my money goes towards bribes to keep the others happy and assassination attempts. Is there a mod out there that makes it so rulers can't marry other rules or heirs to a holding?

E) Inheriting something massive and not having the motivation to spend the next 50 years sorting out all the AI's stupidly unstable arrangement of Counts/Dukes.

H) Having to demand that my 25 'loyal' vassals stop backing the plot of a hated foreign King to kill my son..... FOR THE 5TH TIME!
I) Having to search through all the potential supporters for my plot to find ones within 1 bribes worth of opinion, plus find all the potential supporters (usually my vassals) that are not listed from the intrigue page.
J) Having to search through 2 dozen council candidates/title claimants to find ones willing to come to my court. (+with bribe)

Basically all the aspects of the game where the UI is poorly designed to fulfil its requirements.

E) I've conquered and unified Ireland, England, and Scotland. Then I smashed France and have started to pick apart Spain, when suddenly the HRE attacks. I crush their armies and am marching around like nobody's business (some would say, "like a boss") when I realize it is just a long tedious string of revolts from family members and small conquests till I rule the world. Takes all the fun out when you realize you've already beaten the game, its just the game doesn't realize it yet.
