I seem to always get Cybrex questline. Four games played, four of them Cybrex. Anyone has the same impression?

Oh my, i really envy your luck! My most spawning precursor is by far the Irassians. And thats by far the worst possible outcome. It's for my way to play so massively useless that i never end the precursor chain. The second one i see actually sometimes are like you the yuth. The second worst option i guess...
The one i want to see shows never up. And that's the zroni. Last time seen about 20 games ago. The cybrex are not much more frequent for me.

Because you're lucky? I keep getting the Yuht, and if I play Materialist the Zroni.
I would suggest buying a lottery ticket, but you may have used up all of your luck for a while.
Congrats. I get the Yuht at least every other game. I used to get Cybrex regularly, but not since the introduction of relics. (I remember only one game where I could actually use the Cybrex relic)
Yeah no complaints when I get Baol, they're good.
(Not as good as Cybrex, but still quite good.)
Just play as a Machine Intelligence.

Literally all I get are Yuht or Irrassian which are by far the worst two.
I'd love an option to just pick you pre-cursor since some like the Zroni are really game changing for a psionic empire. Or at least a balance pass to make the bad ones actually decent. Even for "free bonuses" ones like Irassian are . . .eh? I barely bother to finish the quest chain for them honestly

Not my style
. But one player from my usual mp group plays machines frequently and he said the same. So maybe machine empires really draw cybrex like a magnet. If thats true, why doesn't my empire draw zroni?

Cybrex is one of the best ones. free broken ring to restore, but the REAL best part is instant conversion of minerals to a buttload of alloys.

are you always playing machines? i think they might have an increased chance for cybrex?
The issue I have with Cybrex is the overpowered ground units that become available on homeworld. This archeological quest line appears often. In my opinion it makes ground warfare too convenient and bypasses considerable research that grants basically an unmatched army. The conversation of 10k minerals to alloys on activation is fine, though a golden ticket to ground invasion is a little over the top. Maybe a passive buff of 20% to health & damage would be reasonable. Just my thoughts...
