Why does they use closed economy? But they were all about free trade and laissez faire, in Vic2, for example, they always were about these economic laws and implement a burguois dictatorship. Does this make sense? Does this represent them, if anarchism is about free trade and capitalism?

If it was a true anarchy, it shouldn't be controlled by the player nor the AI. Fix pls
And every individual in the anarchy should be riding tanks, and have an aircraft carrier.

You have the right idea but I think the economy of scale might be an order of magnitude or two high.

no just no. anarchism is and has always been a leftist anti capitalist ideology.
anarchism is defined by being against hierarchies so capitalism is a big no no

But didn't they defended the elimination of centralizated states in favor or free markets and private property? Were against any intervention in economy?

There are different kinds of anarchism. Anarcho-capitalism is what you're thinking of. The anarchists in Spain were not ancaps, however. They were very much on the left.

To answer the original question, the anarchists are on closed economy because the game represents them as being a threat to every other state in the game. This is why you can't perform diplomacy or join factions with any other state if you're playing the anarchists. It's basically you against the world. You can question whether that's historically accurate or whatever but that's the game's explanation.

in Vic2, for example, they always were about these economic laws and implement a burguois dictatorship.
The Vic 2 "anarcho-liberals" are a weird mess that don't entirely make sense (and most closely resemble, as noted, ancaps; the one thing all the other anarchists agree on is that concentration of capital is inherently hierarchical in effect and thus anarcho-capitalism is a self-contradictory notion).

your mistake is thinking that capitalism and free markets are the same thing. it's not. you can have capitalism without free markets and you can have non capitalism with free markets.

and no anarchists want to abolish private property because they believe private property is theft. they feel that land cannot be owned by people.(simplified)
and they are not against government either. most anarchist(afaik) are in favor of democratic confederalis.
