I know this seems like a stupid thing to complain about but it's annoying me a lot to be honest. After Horse Lords dynasty coats of arms are all random every time you install the game. Why? In 2.3.6 it wasn't like that and I see absolutely no reason why that should change. It's also annoying how bishoprics, cities and baronies now have different coats of arms too.

Edit: Wait, I think it's not random. Still, I don't understand why they had to change them.

I'm pretty sure that's a common bug that's been around for a while. Try checking the FAQs of the technical sections or start a thread there.

You can actually get a new randomized set if you delete your gfx folder in /Documents/PI/CK2. When you start the game up, it will create all of the flags again.

Well that's disappointing, but I guess that's how the game works. I'm not sure if I'll get the DLC since that would only fix my CoA (and some allies) but not my vassals' CoA. I'll think about it. Thank you all.

Yeah, it's just how the game works. If you uninstall and reinstall, you get new flags. New patch means new flags, etc. It can be a pain when you have some awesome, random CoA for "filler" characters in early starts that get taken away when a new patch rolls out, but it's been there since release.
