why can't i pass blank maps with armies? or why is it even blanked in the area the left to tibet (i know about the performance option ), it makes playing tibet annoying as i need a big detour to go to the west

That's the point. Same reason as why Hindu Kush and Tian Shan are impassable.
then why is there a trade route there? ( hindu kush)
why not just make it a pass there by changing the county shape to simulate a small pass connecting those two counties by the mountain
might as well blank out tibet area if it's like that

then why is there a trade route there? ( hindu kush)
We believe that a pass that allows a small caravan through should not be a pass that allows an army through. This matters in games like CK2 where armies can move between provinces so long as there's a connection, regardless of army sizes.

Had CK2 disallowed military access into certain areas based on army sizes, we would have considered that option.
