Why cant i help my colonial nation after it got declared on by native americans?

i took over florida, cored everything with a shitload of admin points and now florida got declared on and i cannot help them defend.
what do i do?

You can help them by using the diplomatic action enforce peace on the attacker. If they accept, the war ends in a white peace. If they decline(which is very likely), you will enter the war on the side of your CN and become the warleader.

This doesn't work for me. My Thirteen colonies is at 6 simultaneous wars being declared on them just after they formed and it says invalid target -1000 for me to enforce peace on natives. Its bad enough how silly North American mechanics are to be viable but these 'bugs' are just bad for gameplay.

This doesn't work for me. My Thirteen colonies is at 6 simultaneous wars being declared on them just after they formed and it says invalid target -1000 for me to enforce peace on natives. Its bad enough how silly North American mechanics are to be viable but these 'bugs' are just bad for gameplay.
Invalid target usually means that you didn't select in which war you want to enforce peace. You have to click on the flag of your CN in the enforce peace interface to specify that you want to enforce peace in the war against your CN
