Sometimes i save scum in EU4. I tried the same thing in CK2 but when i manually save a file and try to load it up again only the autosave loads.
Why can i only load autosaves?

Are you checking both local and cloud save directories?
(There are small tabs on the top edge of the save game window to toggle between the two locations)
Also, don't hit the "continue" button, click on the save you want to load then hit the load button. The continue button loads the most recent save no matter what you may have selected.
