My character is the Byzantine Emperor, my mother was part of the ruling family of Sardinia and has claims on everything. She is in my court, but I cannot press any of her claims except that on a single North African county that Sardinia holds.

Why is this happening?

*SOLVED* In Male Dominated religions you cannot press female's claims on male rulers.

You got it... but in case you didn't see it, you can press a woman's claims on a male ruler in one instance, which is if he's under 16. Soooo sometimes this is a problem that can be solved with a little stabbing
