This post leaves me beaming.

Red Lasers, blue lasers, pink, purple, yellow and green lasers......whats it matter? I only care if stuff dies on the other end of the beam.
Where that meme came from?
It is an older meme that had been floating around the web for some time. It is a G.I.Joe meme. The cartoon G.I.Joe used to have a PSA at the end designed to teach kids lessons (a way to distract up tight parents from the violence). At the end of the PSA, the kids would often say "Now we know" and a Joe would say "And knowing is half the battle". The Blue and Red laser part is because G.I.Joe and Cobra would shoot red and blue lasers.
I feel so very old knowing that this must be explained to people, rather than being common knowledge.
Lol. That is true.
However, I am sure there are also a lot of people internationally that visit the site and therefore might not be aware that the show ever existed. I sometimes forget that what I post might not translate to everyone, so I didn't mind making the small write-up to explain it.
Oh, and just so some don't think G.I.Joe was just PSAs and no action, here is the rather sweet intro to the TV movie...
Hey, it has blue and red lasers in it, so it sort of fits the conversation.

[Heresy]The Action Force theme music was always better than the G.I.Joe music (much more catchy).[/Heresy]
BUT, they did, to my utter astonishment when I could compare the movie intros side-by-side, cut the UK version down by just under two minutes of said intro video off; which baffles me.
Especially as there is a sad arguement to be made that the intro was the best part of that movie and would have made for a better conclusion than, like, the actual movie...
(Sadder is that the movie was the only time I ever saw Action Force in animated form, since it never aired on terrestrial UK telly.)
