This was an very interesting period of time. The game could start right after when EU:Rome finished with large events taking place at that time, New Persian empire take over for Parthia's for instance. In the middle-east there was many wars and intrigues between the New Persian empire and the Byzantines, and their respective protectorates and "neutral zone's". Also lurking farther to east and central asia was the Turks gaining power(if i remember right). This makes way for very interesting scenario's. While in the West there was also a lot of different but interesting events going on. And the Islamic awakening in Medina and all that followed. There could be put much into it and create a huge experience for players, so many different ways could have resulted in different course in history. Of course also a lot more happened in these times that can be researched thoroughly and make a complete, unbiased and deep game experience.

This would be a really great game if done properly. The possibility to change the path of such important history will surely attract a lot of "history-addicts".

I know im not the first to suggest this. I am sure many wish to see such a game. I feel like there is a big hole in the whole Crusader Kings series when there is no game title between that period of EU:Rome until CK. Suddenly there is crusade against Muslims, but people don't get to experience the story behind it or even hinder it from getting to that.
