Why are people so outraged by the (slight) ottoman nerf?

I mean , before 1.23 the ottomans 99% of the time blobbed out of control , taking persia , parts of india, steppes till Russia, all the arabian peninsula , parts of PLC and often eating parts of Austria.
They didn't have any rivals to keep them in check like other nations, they just took everything one by one.
For the first ten times defeating them as a player has been fun , but then it has just become a chore , something you have to do always and wherever you are.

Right now they can be defeated by the AI something like one out of five times ( a dev also stated that is rare in their many overnight hands off runs) and this brings some variation and unexpected outcomes. Isn't this supposed to be fun?
It' s a breath of fresh air not seeing them always having half the world.

They still are very strong , they just take a bit more to accellerate at the beginning , so they won't blob excessively mid-late game. In my florence run in 1502 they have 120k units , while the second one in the list is France with 50k.

Regarding historical accuracy :
why should we have an invincible empire while we don't have many others historical things which people don't whine that much about , like :

-an actual empire and austria , strong that could at least hinder the ottoman expansion
-a system of coalitions that opposed ottomans like in history (plc hungary and austria are more likely to fight among themeselves) instead of a bohemia that allies ottomans and blobs in the empire
-portugal never has the colonial empire it had in history
-spain forms not even 50% of the times, often is split by france and morocco
-muscovy often is reduced to a few provinces and doesn't form Russia
-Persia and Mughals don't form. If Persia forms it's not even close to the power it had in history(it was a major ottoman rival)
-Prussia , no comment
-the Netherlands , a major player in history , i still have to see them prosper once after 1000 hours played

These and many other things are not historical or close to it but still fun. For once there was a nice gameplay change that brought some new and different ways to play in that region , not the same boring stuff , personally i'm very happy.
What are your opinions?

I agree, Ottos are still really strong, while the region is so much more dynamic, having a few potentially strong powers. Heck, even the Timurids area (whoever replaces them, usually Transoxiania) has a power of its own! Seeing half of the world to be an Ottoman playground was pretty boring, even if they made a nice endgame rival.

Okay, lets start going overboard with extending your single-match experience for the entirety of the game. In my game they are wrecked by Ethiopia of all things.

I have also seen a game where the state of Foix broke free from France and proceeded to form France itself. Does this really mean that France is gimped? Or does it, perhaps, mean that the game has quite a bit of potential outcomes? I think it's the second one.

Considering that 3 of the 4 people who complained the most are Turkish, you can also have the beginning of an explanation.
Else, yes, people don't like changes.
Whats your problems with The Turks you are all talking about them in your posts. Stop it, this is not a place for that.
