Don't bait him ffs, and saying something like that makes you sound as bad as him.

Please stay on topic people. Everyday I have to read idiotic post's from people on these forums it's getting like the steam forums.
He always moans about paying for DLC, so what do you expect

Ha!! Now that's funny. My case in point... people disagreeing with my post for trying to stay on topic. WTF!!! Some people have no clue.

EDIT: This has just ended up another thread that I'm interested in that I no longer follow because people would rather bitch and argue. Its a sad state of affairs really. It may not matter to you but there are people that want to follow a thread for its actual topic.

.

This is the internet. having a go at 2 people in 1 sentence is guaranteed at least 2 dislikes. And it wouldnt take a sherlock to figure out where they came from. :)

So no one else is sick of reading people griping for no reason and going off topic on threads they are interested in?? and to add.. I never had 'a go' at anyone. I asked one person not to bait another and in doing so it makes him sound as bad as the other. In my book it was a polite request to stay ON TOPIC which was the point. I used to enjoy being a apart of this community and felt that people here were generally friendly and helpful, recently its not so true. I like reading people's valid opinions and constructive criticism to reach an end point of making some thing better for everyone. That's the last I have to say on it, sorry to the OP for the high jacking.

Mine is working fine. Maybe a restart of Steam might help you to get your LUT. :)

The "free" update is actually not so free. Once you start using that "free" update you'll find out quickly that you'll have to buy the AD expansion pack because prisoners quickly overflow your limited police station capacity for prison cells. It's more like a "Trojan Horse" update as it forces players to buy the AD expansion pack. Unfortunately the developers did nothing to fix the broken tourism issue or the Space Elevator, the very things that need fixing for the new commercial district type of nightlife to work properly. I'm sure glad I didn't waste my time or money on AD, not until the developers show they will fix poorly programmed things like traffic on multi-lane roads or the Space Elevator and tourism. Plus allowing us to make more populous cities, being forced to stay under 300,000 is no challenge or fun.

There are no plans to change the traffic AI, this has been explained many times. For those with higher spec machines there are Traffic Mods if you need to tweak behavior because of your road layout. Personally I don't.

Haven't experimented with tourism, so can't agree nor disagree with that.

I haven't seen a endless number of complaints from Non-DLC owners complaining about crime yet so I'm not sure this is actually an issue. I do however remember a lot of threads from March/April complaining that crime was too easy so, may be, be careful what you wish for.

Commercial District nightlife is not dependent on tourism as far as I'm aware.

I've seen saved games in the Steam Workshop with a population of 600,000. That being the case what is this 300,000 linit that you speak of.

Actually, that's not entirely correct.

This is what happens when you turn off your police station...

CDB5BAF38B3E1BD0E43A0ABF01BD0B71E20C9BA5

And just turning the police station back on....

You can't reduce crime to 0 without a prison, but just having active police stations will keep crime rate in check.
