Why AI doesn't start Thirty Years War?

Despite having Brandenburg, Ottomans, France and Sweden on Protestant side, AI just sat there doing nothing for 50 years with the following result:

I should add that Reformation was extremely successful:

But nope, Catholicism is apparently a dominant religion now and all non-Catholic electors will be stripped of their titles - and at this point there are like 4 Catholic states in HRE including Austria. What the hell? I wasn't even allowed to become a leader of the league because when the even fired I was at war and neither Aachen (3 times league leader) nor Brandenburg (2 times) nor Sweden (4 times) lift a finger during all this time.

I expected an epic war and now all I have left to do is kill Netherland so that I can form Netherland *sigh*

yeah, I have the same problem. Although in my game protestant - reformed league is small (Me and my ally's) and even though I'm not at war when the event fires every time the leader title goes to Livonian Order, the smallest and weakest of league nations. How do I claim the league leader title? I understand that starting the DV cassus Belli is not enough?

I have only tried once that the war didin't start. In all my other games it did. Personally I loved the game where we had a 7 years war, then a 11 years war and ended with a short 2 years all in one game (changed from catholic and then 2 times I/we defended the protestant faith).

Just as with other part of the game, it gives the option for this war, but you can't be sure that the AI wants the war. Also why didn't you not start it? afterall you look like the most powerfull HRE nation and with the BBB to help you, you should be able to win.

Unlucky but next game just remember to plan it so you can start the war before 1650

EDIT: ALso I could see that France was in a war so they would not start another one at the same time. The same goes for the Ottomans WHO have large amounts of rebels. Bandenburg is to small to have a wish for a war (most of the time, but i hate when a OPM starts the war). Last Sweden have no reason to start it.
