Is there any way of predicting who will be made alliance leader by the AI? I'm Russia and I've just had a war against a blob Bohemia which stretches from Minsk down to the Adriatic. I have a core on Minsk and wanted to cut them down to size so declared war. Bohemia was already at war but nevertheless all their allies joined in and the Emperor - Prussia - also joined in on their side because they are HRE. Expecting this, my strategy was to send 3 doomstacks into Prussia and knock them out of the war early. However, I couldn't do it because Prussia was the alliance leader. I assumed that was because the king of Prussia was Emperor, but no, because then Byzantium joined in and they became alliance leader and then the Papal States joined in and they became alliance leader. At no point was Blobhemia ever alliance leader despite its size and massive army. What was going on?
