I once played from Victoria to HOI2, but stopped quickly as the HOI2-events could not cope with the (very) alternate History from Victoria.
HOI3 should be able to do so....

Best news ever! Victoria 2 will be amazing! I'm also extremely pleased that the interface isn't 3D!
My happiness exceeds all boundaries, now if I could just get HoI3 to run on my comp...
I am happy about this too! I just hope that Vicky 2 will introduce a better management of POPs and factories. But the most important is preserving the wonderful historical atmosphere of Victoria.
I am not unhappy about this although I do dread the dynamic "historical" events ala EU3/HOI3.
I'm thrilled. Like a lot of people, I'd given up on hoping there would ever be a Victoria 2, and I'm going to do my part to make sure it rewards Johan for putting his neck out.

Very good to see V2 coming. I couldn't ever have expected this, so this is even better that way!
I hope V2 will be the ultimate micromanagement game, however simple enough so we could finally play as UK without losing our nerves and still be successful!

Excellent news. Victoria had long been my favourite Paradox game, this is going to be great. Any idea of a possible ETA?

I'm really glad we received a good heads-up with plenty of time to plan on the purchase. I won't be as likely to do something stupid like buy $120 worth of games just before Vicky 2 gets released.
