Dammit, now I have to play HOI3 just to fill time until Vicky2 comes out....as soon as Vicky2 launches and I start to get satisfied, they will announce CK2 and I will again be impatient. PI is either out to get me or they are just building up the excitement!
Looking forward to this - hopefully the improvements made to HOI3 in upcoming patches will help Paradox release Vicky 2 in a state befitting of such a game.
Or maybe it won't, but it wouldn't be a paradox game without a few massive bugs, eh?
Regardless, will most likely preorder this (also, a new forum means more opportunities for spa...umm, thoughtful posts, maybe I'll finally get to over 1,000 )
Now I will be able to see if I really can do better than Soviets during the civil war and the five-year plans; try to push the Manifest Destiny but in the hands of CSA, create a Great Germany born from a liberal republic instead of a monarchy, get the indepencece of Ireland long before it actually happened or help the Comunne of Paris to archive a massive revolutionary victory in France.
OMG OMG OMG, just saw the announcement. Mad props to Johan et al. on having the guts to tackle this again. I can only speculate that they make significantly less money on this and it is as complex or more than HOI3. So it must be a labor of love. PI rocks!!!
I'm guessing you're the guy who hits <PAUSE> a lot during the multiplayer games.
I is actually sad since I just bough Vicky:Rev and am still trying to find the time to learn it. However I am happy as this proves Paradox as THE greatest publisher of historical strategy games. This company is literally in a class by itself.
