Who should be in new loading screens?

Personally I'd like to see more loading screens at start. While I love all the work they put into the art, I would like to see other people besides the usual six (now nearly twelve). Here's my predictions/hopes for who will get one;

Oda Nobunaga (for Japan)
Kangxi (for China)
Krishnadevaraya, Akbar or Babur (for India)
George Washington (for America)
Pachacuti (for the Inca)
Zara Yaqob (for Ethiopia)
Abbas I (for Persia)
Frederick II (for Prussia)
Christian IV (for Denmark)
Matthais Corvinus or Janos Hunyadi (for Hungary)
And though their nations are already taken: Napoleon and Peter the Great.

Looking over the posts, the ones people seem to want portraits of the most are Napoleon, Oda Nobunaga, Frederick II, and George Washington (oddly).

My own suggestions (including plenty that you've already suggested):

- Frederick the Great
- Peter the Great
- Napoleon
- William of Orange
- Charles V
- Jan Sobieski
- George Washington
- Babur
- Tokugawa Ieyasu
- A major Qing Emperor (I don't know enough about the Qing to suggest anyone specific)
- A major non-Muslim Indian ruler (either a leader of Vijayanagar or of the Marathas, perhaps?)

And for "civilians"/non-monarchs (I'd like to see someone other than monarchs and that one (Venetian?) fella from Wealth of Nations at some point):
- Vasco de Gama/Columbus/Ferdinand Magellan
- Descartes
- Voltaire (ideally he'd pop up alongside Frederick the Great in an Enlightenment-era expansion)
- Kant
- Newton
- Adam Smith (who should really have been included in Wealth of Nations, given that it's the title of his most famous book)
- Macchiavelli (who should really have been included in Art of War, given that he also wrote a book called Art of War)
- Martin Luther (who should really have been included in Art of War, given all the Reformation revamps)
- A Dutch intellectual/scientist/economist

Some non-white philosophers/poets/scientists/major religious leaders from the era would be appreciated, but unfortunately I don't know enough to suggest any.

As for monarchs, ideally, it would be good to see the most stronk man from every major nation of the timeframe.

I wish I could alt tab out of those loading screens. Or if the load was just shorter.

But I guess some better load screens will have to do.

I think the list should only include those who are easily recognizable though, like George Washington, Peter the Great, Napoleon, etc...

Unfortunate for rulers and notables outside of Europe though as for most of the time period, the art style was such that they didn't really have easily recognizable portraits so it would be hard to make a easily recognizable load screen for them. I don't want to see someone and think, "Oh, that could be just about anyone from that country in the time period".

Well the game IS Europa Universalis though.

Given the focus on exploration/colonisation and the 'one face per country' rule, I guess it has to be an Aztec or Inca emperor (one of the strong ones, not the one who got owned by the Spanish) or a Portuguese figure.
