Next chosen target is Cuba. In Cold war Cuba was used as a base for Soviet rockets carrying nuclear warheads, now it will be used as a base for German V2.
Honolulu, one of the most important USN naval bases has fallen. I am leaving IJN and Japanese to deal with rest of American forces in Pacific. Hopefully they will prove themselves useful.
Assault on Havana, attack on Cuba will be supported by a paradrop in Guantanamo (which will be supported by coastal bombardement by Kriegsmarine and by bombers operating from Port au Prince).
With support of Kriegsmarine and Luftwaffe lone binary paratrooper division has no problems dealing with Cubans even being outnumbered and suffering from paradrop penalty. All three parts of Wehrmacht are cooperating together to ensure quick victory.
Supply of rares is going down quickly (100 per a day) so I've ordered transport of rares from conquered areas. 10k of rares were gained, but with this pace rares will run out in half a year. I am seriously thinking about conquering someone just for their stockpiles of rares.

I am extremely careful during this as according to the statistics USS Enterprise and USS Yorktown are still out there. And Kriegsmarine has not fought against admiral Nimitz, yet. However, air patrols flying in surrounding ocean areas show no USN activity.
Another progress in field of Wunderwaffen, it's a shame that this bonus does not apply to medium bombers which I tend to use most.

Fleet of admiral Nimitz is spotted and German fleet set sails to intercept Nimitz.
After some chasing where both fleets sent their CAGs into adjacent zones to bomb each others fleets. Nimitz's fleet retreats to Miami without a real fight. Escape way from Miami is immediately blocked by Kriegsmarine. One SAG and one CTF (totaling into 4x BB and 4x CV) are waiting for admiral Nimitz to show up in person. CAGs are ordered to strike ports in Miami once more.
Ah, here comes the bonus for medium bombers. As a bonus requirements for surface-to-air and more important for air-to-air missile are met.

As I've said I've spent quite a long time with hoi3 today so there's another update.
Another level of nuclear research facility is completed in Bayreuth and research of another nuke tech is closer to completion.
War against Nicaragua is declared as Germany is low on rares and I am hoping that Wehrmacht will be able to seize some oil along with rares. After Nicaragua has fallen DoWs on Hondures, El Salvador and Guatemala were declared. Heer stopped at Mexican borders.

Kingdom of Italy is rolling, they are rampaging in Iraq. I am wondering what their next target will be.
And they are still trying... Yanks have a lot of CAGs based in their airfields due to the loss of their carriers and they are trying to use them against me from time to time.
They are intercepted by new jet fighters and only by their count they manage to wear jet fighters down. Jet fighters are stationed for repairs and after meeting heavy fighters US Airforce gives up.
Probably biggest USN fleet at the moment.
With expansion of nuclear facility in Bayreuth Germany is able to produce more nukes.
Now when USN resting at the bottom of the sea (or at Miami port) island hopping in Caribbean can be finished. Jamaica was also conquered during process of mopping up Caribbean.
When I was watching this I was totally surprised by the causality ratio during amphibious invasion + defenders organization was just melting away.

Behold, initial plans for taking down last bastion of resistance against USA - Unternehmen Ragnarök
The overall plan of Operation Ragnarök, I will describe into depth below.
Here I would like to present legend for the plan:
Initial assaults will be executed by marines in Quebec at north and in central area in Norfolk and Philadelphia. Both assaults will be provided one surface action group for shore bombardment and one carrier task force to assure that every allied aircraft is intercepted.
In the north one group will push behind St. Lawrence river to hold defensive positions for eventual counterattack and will neglect Montreal on the other side of the river. Other half of forces in northern sector will seal Labrador peninsula utilizing rivers for holding the line (red lines).
In the central sector assault on Philadelphia and Norfolk will start the invasion. This will be again supported by Kriegsmarine, one SAG and one CTF will be dedicated for the task of supporting the assault. After beachheads are secured heavy bomber squadron carrying the nuke (probably operating from Bermuda) will drop the nuke on Washington D.C.
Both beachheads will bypass nuked Washington D.C. and will merge and rush toward lake Erie leaving nuked American capital behind.
After initial steps are finished and Kriegsmarine resources are free set of another landings will be executed (blue). Purpose of these is to increase pressure on the Yanks and reinforce eventual weak spots.
At this point mainland Allied airfields will be captured and paratroopers will embark for a paradrop in Buffalo in order to seal the hole between lake Erie and lake Ontario.
In the south sector the plan is following:
Forces will land in Miami, this will be supported by SAG only as air superiority will be provided by aircraft operating from Cuba and Bahamas. After this whole Florida will be secured and panzers will be steadily pushing towards Appalachian Mountains.
Second landing will occur in New Orleans, supported by SAG and CTF for purposes of air superiority. Units deployed there will also rush towards Appalachian Mountains in order to create a pocket.
If all will be going according to the plan and any spare forces are present there's eventuality of strike executed from central and south sector (blue) in order to create another pocket.
Whole Wehrmacht will be committed to Operation Ragnarök, at the moment 1 million of men is awaiting in staging areas in Newfoundland, Bermudas, Caribbean and south America.
Operation Ragnarök will be executed 6th June 1945.
