Back in the days of EU1 - I had a horror ally in the Teutonic Order. They kept declaring wars on Poland every five years that I had to come and save their asses from. I was scared once or twice when they did that and I had almost no army, nor money left, after having a go at Sachsen or Mecklemburg. Polish armies were pretty bad then - almost all cav and cheap!
