I am not, somewhat, although I definitely look forward to trying the awesome new Republican features. We might as well have two of these threads running simultaneously, because that's such a useful thing, right?

Well, I suppose I'm not happy that it's not a pagan DLC, although I am happy that it is a republics DLC.

I'm almost more looking forward to interacting with republics as a feudal ruler than actually playing as one, but I'm sure I'll fit that in at some point. At least now when we do get pagans we can have pagan republics of the Baltic!
Loved every expansion so far, this is the first one I don't care about. I would have much preferred it to be pagans since I'm actually interested in playing those.
Do we really need these threads? I would have rather seen a Pagan DLC but I think the Republic one looks really awesome.
A Pagan DLC is the one I've been wanting since release... so I was a little sad to see that its still going to be a wait.
With that said, what I've seen so far has been nothing but positive and I think it'll turn out to be yet another fun expansion.

You should be extra happy because it means after the Republic DLC is released it is guaranteed you will have your pagan DLC.
Aslong as pagans come eventualy ill be happy.

Yep slightly disappointed... Pagan is probably going to be the last DLC on the list!
I am happy either way. I would have preferred Pagans but I have absolutely nothing against Republic DLC and I welcome it warmly.
To be honest, I am completely cool with it and I think this thread is sort of unnecessary.
This thread was mostly intended to be a tongue-in-cheek response to the other thread. Don't worry, I'm definitely still looking forward to republics and will surely enjoy them, I just felt the people in the other thread were taking things too seriously and trying to claim superiority over those of us who did hope for pagans.
The Pagan DLC will come. PI fans should know by now that patience will net them great things (both in terms of expansions and polished mods).
Oh yeah, I am not saying that the other thread is by any means necessary either. It is just a futile attempt to be rude.

It was anyway too optimistic to think they make a pagan dlc to the end of this month. The announched dlc is smaller and so its faster to make. I didn't care myself about republics but this seems interesting concept and most likely makes playing them fun.
