Definitely positive; but then, I've loved all the main DLCs (SoI, LoR, this) so far.

I honestly liked CK2 before all the DLC. I think it was perfect at ~1.3, even though I like some of the LoR mechanics like retinues.

That would be an awesome AAR... though I have to now complain that the idea of a Europe spanning Empire that controls every province on the map to be very implausible and shall have to petition Paradox to create a feature that you can only conquer as much has your chosen country had done in real life.
I definitely am. Sounds way more interesting than legend of rome, which I didn't eevn bother buying.
At first I was like "woah is this for real?", then I was "It is for real!" and then I was "Come at me aztecs! Come face the might of the roman empire! I'll take down both you and the mongol hordes! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA". As I play the empress of the empire, I'm allowed to be a bit megalomaniacal.... right?
So yeah I'm all for fantasy scenario DLC's. It's a fun What If thing for me to enjoy. Plus It'd be nice to see france and spain get invaded by someone else than me or the HRE for a change.

I'm in the process of forming the Empire of Hispania right now. Would be amazing to see Aztec sails arriving just as the Reconquista is complete centuries before it really happened.

I think it will be an interesting scenario, but I doubt one will play it more than a few games from time to time. I definitely like the idea and the context of it. One could see it as a comedy of the colonization of the Americas, but this time it's the Europeans who are the victims instead. Of course, that's obviously the point with the DLC. I'm still glad though that they stuck to some historical flavor and didn't make it all plain fantasy, that would probably not have been as appealing... Okay, zombies and aliens could have worked too, those are exceptions.

My initial thoughts when I saw 'sunset invasion announced' was 'cool a mongol dlc'. Then I read it and realised I had been wrong about the direction the world spins. I was dissapointed at first, but on realisation that this is a minor dlc, so won't take the place of one of the major ones it does sound quite cool. Pity they won't be playable, but I reckon there will be enough in it for some fun.
Not really something that I would "need to have", because I would probably only use it a few times. Will, at least, certainly have it when it goes on sale, or along with the major DLC.

I think i'm going to play mali and sit there the wohle game while watching aztecs and mongols battle for poland. or is there any other place on the map more save than mali? Dunno but defenitly gonna buy it.

"Medieval fantasies become real" seems more thematically appropriate for a medieval era game than an Aztec invasion. I'll still buy it because it does sound like fun, I just would have liked it to be more medieval-ish.
I know the premise is far-fetched, but I am intrigued by the thought of defending christendom beset on all sides by heathen hordes. Now all we need is an Inuit invasion from the north.
Of course, I'm looking forward to it. I really don't understand why people get anger - why nobody cares when the scenario "Abyss" were released in HoI2 Doomsday: Armageddon?
