I think they are a bit boring because the only ways to expand are to colonise, reform and hope you survive. Plus, most of the provinces increase the cost of developing lands because they are coastlines or tropical areas.

Yeah, they are too decentralised to be tags. That also includes most of the american tags because they were mainly ultra-nomadic and Aboriginal tribes didn't even have leaders or chieftains either, plus they had no idea what the ideas of war and peace were. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_frontier_warsThey shouldn't be tags in first place so i think thats fair
They have a vassalise Hungary achievement no?It was fun doing it for the first time trying to reform ASAP, but I'm probably not going to play them again unless they add some achievements for them.
At least native don't have to wait Europeans to appear unlike older versions.
I'm happy with lots of US+CAN natives if we got 1.32 natives which took forever to settle. 1.31 and 1.33 natives which blob across the continent without any meaningful European plague events + boat load of tags is terribleYeah, they are too decentralised to be tags. Basically they were so isolated and decentralised that war, peace, federation and all that was contrary to their beliefs until some prisoners from "Witchhead Island" came along and ruined the isolation of 40,000 years.
Bruh nothing changed between 1.32 and 1.33 AI is just more aggro over the whole worldThey have a vassalise Hungary achievement no?

They settle by 1500 again, check patchnotesBruh nothing changed between 1.32 and 1.33 AI is just more aggro over the whole world
Only thing I see is settled tribes can take landThey settle by 1500 again, check patchnotes
They got nomad tech group, allowing them to form colonial nations like mexcio and usa, if they reformed into hordeIt looks like a lot of tribes choose to go horde with their government reforms, as it seems to be the only way to reach a more advanced government type before someone with feudalism turns up. I thought 1.31 was meant to give natives a way to "self actualise" without Europeans, but it looks like they took it away again.
I thought they changed that in 1.32/1.33They got nomad tech group, allowing them to form colonial nations like mexcio and usa, if they reformed into horde
Dev intention with 1.31 might have been that but the feedback by players was harsh
They changed it so you didn't swap tech group so were stuck being unable to devI thought they changed that in 1.32/1.33
Anything other than horde is a fake option for Australian natives. I've seen cases made otherwise for American natives, but horde is probably still best there too for several reasons. It was fun doing it for the first time trying to reform ASAP, but I'm probably not going to play them again unless they add some achievements for them.

IIRC there's a bug that allows natives to take tribal land off other nations without a war, which could be resulting in bigger natives than expected. Interesting that stealing land w/o other side having a say is a problem across several Pdox games :/. Not nearly as bad or prevalent in EU 4 as HOI 4, though.Bruh nothing changed between 1.32 and 1.33 AI is just more aggro over the whole world
No, easiest is probably still to annex/release a totemist to knock them out of native council, then dev push them into embracing feudalism. Unless the Europeans turn up very quickly, in lucky games Portugal will be in Mexico before 1530, and developing is significantly worse then using their border in that case. That's only on patches where the AI can colonize somewhat soon though, don't know how it's behaving in 1.33.can aztecs self-reform now without doing conversion gimmicks?
I think they can make boats now, so maybe they could meet them in cuba around 60 years earlier.Anything other than horde is a fake option for Australian natives. I've seen cases made otherwise for American natives, but horde is probably still best there too for several reasons.

Oh right, I forgot about that. The hard part is probably revealing the island, since that requires ADM 5 for an idea group, or DIP 6 to steal maps (and someone from which to steal knowledge of Caribbean). But with change to institutions so that the penalty builds up more slowly, it probably costs less to go for ADM 5 + DIP 3 than to try developing with the "primitive" penalty or wait extra decades for Europeans to get out of Caribbean.I think they can make boats now, so maybe they could meet them in cuba around 60 years earlier.
Modder got employed as actual paradox dev so implemented his mod without any concern *Well, people on the forum said that playable Australian tags would be fun and cool, so I guess you're mistaken.
It's weird that you can develop a random tribe so they can find a way to feudalise. If development was a real currency in 1400, Imagine if you could develop Bohemia so hard it can have flying cars by 1530. Devving for institutions feels too unreal, but it is literally the hard-coded meta. No, easiest is probably still to annex/release a totemist to knock them out of native council, then dev push them into embracing feudalism.
