I was never a fan of the major powers in Vicky mainly because the micromanagement just got totally out of hand. Playing UK felt like a shore not a game. Don't get me wrong, I'm a micromanager at heart, but Vicky really did teach me about my limits.
Haha. Yes, the micromanagement could be tedious some times, but i like it if its not too cumbersome. When playing China for example with all those POPs takes forever to turn them into clerks and craftsmen. I could sit for hours just converting a billion POPs, and then I remember I wished for an automated function! So many people! The empire needs a regional governor whom to assign these menial tasks!
So i hope for Vicky2 there could be an option of converting POPs quicker. Basically turn POPs of type X into POPs of type Y, with N number of iterations. When you have 30 POPs in Nangchang that is without work, and a size 30 canned food factory, it will come in handy.
It should also be possible to do this with unit building, so you tell the game how many of unit Z you want (like in old Vicky) and it will queue them up and build them as money and resources become available. It was also a bit cumbersome in the old game i remember when you had to stock up materials before you could order the building. The game could then indicate what wares are needed and you could then trade for them, or automate.
