I'm guessing that Crete will be Imperator's Tutorial Island, so Knossos will probably be first. Unite the island, create a Thalassocracy in the Mediterranean. But I'm mostly looking forward to playing Judea and create a Greater Israel stretching from Antiochea to Eilat, with trading colonies and ports throughout the Mediterranean and Red Sea, dominating the sea lanes and trade from Asia.

I want to play a Celt but their range was somewhere from the Danube region west over to Ireland and Portugal. That means I will probably just pick a tribe somewhere.

Hmm, my CK2 start is usually in southern France or Basque Spain, usually Bordeaux (I like their wine ), maybe I’ll find a group to play near there.

I am most looking forward to playing as a germanic tribe (probably as the saxons), with the goal of getting hegemony over the other germanic tribes, colonize what is now Germany, get civilized and form a proper germanic Empire. Then I will withstand those pesky toga guys and of course as an end goal sack Rome.

The challenge will be to only directly rule islands (Crete, Rhodes, Cyprus, Sicily, Corsica, Sardinia the Baleares etc...) and only have vassals on the mainland.
