For me it’s going to be the Kingdom of Judea. Conquer the Middle East and stop Rome from expanding into the Med...

Massalia. I had a great campaign in EU:R as a Greco-Gaulish empire and I'd love to have some fun with it again.

Mauryan Empire will always be my prime choice. That or Shunga and Satvahan empires, in case there is a later start date.

But that said, I am looking to play Sparta, Athens, Carthage and various Diadochi. And tribals from Gaul and Iberia too, to ransack the world.

Bactria might be interesting as well if it is playable. You are available to go anywhere, from India to Persia or even go north into the Steppes and surprise the Germanic people from the east.

Massalia. I had a great campaign in EU:R as a Greco-Gaulish empire and I'd love to have some fun with it again.

I thought about that... Do we have any information yet about how societies like Massalia could work? Mixed-culture pops? Greek elites and gaulish "masses"? Will there be culture interaction? I wondered about this because of another ancient favorite of mine, the Bosporan Kingdom.

I'm most curious to play as factions with "mixed cultures" (Massalia, Bosporus, Cyrene, Indo-Greek Kingdom and to a lesser extent the (other) Diadochi). Also, Sparta, because they were a great academic interest of mine, and I'm curious to see how their society will be represented in-game.

The devs intentionally choose a starting date when the one eyed is still alive. I can't wait to play him and hopefully reunite Alexander's empire (with Antigonos' family on the throne).

Pyrrhos and the various war lords in Hellas also interest me. I wonder how will Paradox represent the situation there. If Polyperchon is playable I will play him as the ultimate challenge.

I want to play as a Successor. Don't know which one, I'll probably roll a die to decide.

I want to play a Greek city and see if you can play tall.

I want to play an Italian minor and try to eclipse Rome.

I want to play an Iberian kingdom and try to repel the Phoenician and Greek colonies.

I want to play an Eastern nomadic tribe and make my own version of Parthia.

I want to play an Indian kingdom and unite the subcontinent.

...I'll probably end up doing none of these and just playing Rome when the game comes out.
