How do I get Poland free?

Mac-based Ricky;

Russia holds Congress;

Is there an event the releases Poland? B/c Russia can't free Finland or any of the baltics, or Poland...

Even if I f12 neville over Congress to the CSA or Austria or Germany, I still can't release Poland!!

It's driving me nutso, as I can't be expected to have WWII without a free Poland, or a Winter War without a free Finland...

Well, as Austria, Prussia, or Russia, you can neville your way to owning all of Poland's cores, and then release it as a satellite. Your going to want to conquer Krakow too. Then, just go into the save file and edit away Poland's satellite status.

Or, your could write a chain of events to have all three countries create Poland, which wouldn't be hard in essence, but would require 3-4 event to fully complete.

You could even mix the two, probably.

someone made a aar out of this. They started out as Krakow was able to form Poland.

I don't seem to be able to get that to work. Russia holds the cores; if I load up as the Rus, I can't release Poland. If I load up as Germany, Austria or the CSA, and f12 the provinces over, I still can't release.

Any thoughts?

Are you able to release other countries?

I know as Prussia/Germany from experience, you can release Poland. I have no idea why you can't, you should be able to, if you have the cores.

yah...i can release Czecho...but even with 20 lands around Warsaw, nada.

That's really bizarre. You own Polish cores, so by the Vicky Laws of Physics, you can release Poland. Are you sure it doesn't exist already?
