i just bought hearts of iron 3 collection and activated it on steam

when i start the game it automatically opens hearts of iron 3:their finest hour 4.02 version and in this version i can only choose 4 countries, each starts at a different time and in three of them ai controls some stuff instead of me.

i dont think this is the real game, which version should i use to have the best experience?

edit: sorry, didnt realize there was a quick questions-quick answers thread

Sounds like a demo.

Normally, there is a line of around 8 flags across the bottom of the screen, which are what Paradox considers "interesting" countries to play, but you can click on any country on the map to play them. You should also be able to turn AI control on or off for each aspect of the game, but the only way to really learn them is to run them yourself.
