Which species will you never play as ?

I am certain that I will never play as the 15th Mammalian, it's a terrifying abomination.
I'm pretty sure I'll skip a few because huge selection of characters.

I even doubt I would use the Humans to be "Terran X". But I would like to use them to be historical cultures in SPAAAAACE, specially if I modify their name lists. Japanese Empire in space, a Xenophobic ultra militarist state; a Caliphate in space, bringing the word of God/Allah to these heathens among the stars; the USSR in SPAAAAACE; and whatever other thing I think, in the moment, would be cool XD

In SotS 1/2 I only every played as humans. Maybe it's time to change that. Is there a 'random' option?

Yeah, I've had an idea to play as Earth in the form of a global Soviet Union as Khrushchev imagined it. I don't believe in utopias though, so it won't be the paradise that Communist science fiction would present it.

Probably never going to play as Fungoid in general, for the other ones, ah idk at the moment.
I'd play space foxes only if they were like the aliens from Galaxy Quest, where they win you over with their cuteness, until you realize that they are evil cannibals.
I'll never play as those arachnid from the Nova/Galactic edition.

Kind of like how I get the urge to immediately kill any bug or spider I see in real life?

Never as humans. What I really don't like is when space 4X games claim they have X races available but where 3 or 4 of the "races" are just feeble variations on humans. Sad.
I didn't think I'd much care and would try all sorts of aliens. Then I found the six-eyed, four nostril Space Kanga-Wombat!
