I might give the humans a try to fulfill some ideological fantasy or the other, maybe the platypus because they actually look pretty based. But other than those two, I feel they just look too... vanilla or bland compared to other phenotypes.

Okay, we've got humans, relatively normal... then some crazy four-eyed mohawked monkey rhino... I don't know... thing... then there's Fluff McLargeHuge, Bray Whinnington, the ever-popular Cat Confederates, the anteater-lookin' dudes with the big snoots, DA 'OGZ, WAAAAA- sorry. Some weird combo of a space bison/ram, the #420BlazeItSloths, the 'Cute Foxes', some... uh... horny thing? Them dudes with the killer eyebrows, some freaky kinda spider-eyed bat people... Scruffy Goatington, some friggin' skeletal monkey lookin' motherfuckers, a demonic monstrosity that looks like it just came out of the Wizard of Oz, and the frankly quite awesome Platypus Overlords.

Well, I'll concede that with such descriptions they sound appealing. But IMO, compared to the other portraits all of them look too... earthlike, I guess? I can quite easily relate most of them to a Terran species. of some kind. Not only that but all of them have a human-like bauplan. Reptillian and Avian also suffer from that to a lesser extent. On the other hand, I'll be having a shitload of fun with the Molluscoids, Fungoids and(probably my favorites) Arthropoids

There are definitely a lot of them that are very Earthlike, such as the cats, pigs, horses, etc

Honestly, I found myself drawn to the hideous fungoids. I mean, Star Trek-eque federations are so bland. I'd rather play as an incredibly alien civilization incapable of reason or understanding (and yes, extremely ugly).
