I like cores. Which nation has the most cores? I find small nations with plenty of cores to be gems, such as Byzantium etc. Any other similar nations? In AGCEEP perhaps?

China, France etc is not that interesting, as they already cover most of their cores in 1492...

East Europe + Siberia = Russia
Russia is the country with more core provinces, maybe Ottoman Empire is near...

But they don't get cores on the siberian corridor right? Just up to the urals IIRC.

Anyway, are there any other minors that have plenty of cores or cultures by default, creating a possibility for an empire? Bohemia has three cultures IIRC which is pretty interesting, but some bad events and limited cores...

Timurid Empire get a nice amount of cores. I dont think anyone can compete with OE.

Most of Russia's later (Siberian) core provinces are very poor anyway.

Brittany is nice. Granada, too. Not too many cores, but they have quite a few and multiple cultures.

Burgundy has 2 cultures (had 3 originally), but they own most of their cores already.

Ah, forgot that Brittany could turn into france with Gaelic culture. Can't Navarro become France as well, with Iberian culture? Do they get cores on France?

Yes, with basque, iberian and french cultures. But without any cores except Béarn and Navarre proper.

I think they get it in mods like AGC/EEP or whatever, but in vanilla, they don't. But yes, they do become France if they own Paris, and they do have Iberian culture (and French, and Basque...)

Ah...gonna check out AGCEEP, I am pretty sure they have sorted out the core "bug" when proclaiming the throne of France... I mean...King of France and not even a core on Paris?

Hmmm... I just checked, and it's NOT! They use the same Paradox event... I suggest that either the event is modified, or a seperate french event checking if the "Navarra proclaims the throne of France" event has happened with certain trigger conditions.

Sorry, I've checked afterwards too. They have fixed it for Burgundy and Provence, but they forgot about Navarra. Simply go to Burgundy's or Provence's event file and copy/paste the effects.

Same goes for Britanny, they haven't modified any event, so it's still the original vanilla eventfile.
