Hi,

I'd like to play a mod with the least possibel hardcoded "historical" event.
And also not restricting countrys on what techs etc. they may get.
I like it best the more open-ended it plays.

Anything out there? I tried SuperAI so far and I rather like it, but I got a little bummed out when "Self Propelled Artiellry" would take me 1300 days as Italy. In the End Slowenia(!!!) shared the tech to me. I assume Italy got shafted by intention...

Easy: Vanilla HoI is the least historical!

I think all of the mods enhance the historical accuracy in some ways. Typically just in different ways. Starfire adds a more historical and realistic combat model while only making minor national differences (currently very few event and tech changes that force national trends) but makes major economic changes to impose a historical and realistic economy.

I guess that makes my little small mod the most innacurate, since it's the closest to vanilla HOI :)

Even the original Stony Road, whose primary purpose was to make the game harder for the human, also had some 'historical' improvements where they wouldn't conflict with that purpose.

Just a quick question:
Does this mod use any files from the vanilla HoI? I am of course maning those that can be modified.

Just wondering if I can install this over Starfire mod...or if I have to re-install the whole game.

Who are you referring to here?

My mod uses all the vanilla files, but adds an additional one.
