Which is your favorite among BATTLETECH's new forum functionalities?

The move to Paradox brought with it a number of new and/or different forum functionalities.

By FAR, my favorite of these forum functionalities is the autosave function

It has already saved me on numerous occasions. It even saves a single draft on multiple threads at one time. This has come up when I have one response partially complete on my cellphone but move on to my iPad for a second or even then to my laptop for a third draft, each being saved for their particular thread.

What is your favorite functionality?

Quite like the agree/disagree and helpful - haven't had a reason to use the other functions.

I agree. (And I did! +1) : )

But I still find there are times that no question or point was raised with which I can "Agree" or "Disagree" but I sill what to register a "Like."

For me the biggest example is the hard work of our Fan Fiction writers and Community artists. "Like" works so very well. "Agree" and "Helpful" as responses to Hatchy's latest artwork, just doesn't quite give the feedback I intend.

All of the collapsible elements. Saves a ton of scrolling on mobile and tidied up very long OP posts with customized spoiler tags.

Like most, I do miss the ability to have custom avatars, but I've gotta say, aside from all the other features that have been mentioned so far in this thread, the Battletech avatars they gave us are pretty slick.

I like that replying to someone only includes that person's post and not also any posts they were replying to, avoiding the situation on the old forum where no one pruned their quotes and we'd wind up with ridiculously long posts that only contained a single line or two of new text each, massively slowing down the site anytime there happened to be embedded media somewhere in there and ping-spamming anyone who was tagged at some point in the chain.

Yeah, and as soon as multiple possible reactions are allowed, I immediately start missing the "Haha" reaction available on Facebook.

The idea that "Your post got a chuckle out of me" is distinct enough that I want to be able to communicate it directly and I definitely don't want to clutter up the boards by replying with an LOL if I have nothing else to add.

Much more friendly to mobile (the old forum sat a 'loading' so often I didn't even try to sign up and post).

New forum is ok. But I really miss the Devtracker. I follow all of HBS's devs but i get no alert or something else if they post something. Have to manually view their posts in their profile... or am I doing something wrong?

I only have to click once on the page number ... sounds weird but I constantly had to go back and forth in the old forum to get to the page I wanted to.

My favorite feature is having one less game forum to log into.

My second favorite feature is not getting stuck on “loading” half of the time when using my iPad. That was what led to me posting and reading less and less on the HBS forum.

When you got them all on follow you have to open "Your News Feed"

I would like an Option to toggle what i can see on the feed. Posted/Replied would be enough.
To see every Rating someone gives feels quiet creepy

And of course the obligatory Color Scheme Options and Custom Avatars

Beyond that i really start to like the new Forums.

Ehhh...? Spoiler is kind of nice but on the whole this was a downgrade in functionality, layout, and just general aesthetics. It even performs a bit worse and isn't as accessible on hand helds...
