Which Nation/Empire will you play in your first game?

Now, I know posting this kind of thread is more than a bit premature, but I can't help myself.

Which Nation/Empire will you chose the first time you play the game?

For me it's a tie between the Seleucid Empire and Rome.

Pergamum, so that instead of a Roman Empire we will have Pergamunese Empire

Rome. No doubt about it. It will be my first and my most frequent nation. Something like Austria is in the EU series and in Vicky.

I don't know if I'll buy the game yet. But in case I do I'd play Carthage first probably. I've sworn eternal hate to romans
but as I say, first I'll have to see some good political system in the game to make a decision.

For me, there can be no other first choice than Rome, however I think the first time will also be the only time I will play it.

Yeah, Rome for me too, although I've never played Austria in any game.. I know far more about Rome than any other nation in the game, so it's quite a natural choice.

Probably first the Carthagians to get a feel with the game, then I'll try my hand at the Gaulish tribes and probably mostly use them afterwards.

...alright; alright. My first game will probably be as either Rome or Carthage, since they'll likely be best for getting the hang of the game. After that, I'll probably play every single Hellenic nation. Every single one. In alphabetical order.

And then I'll do the same for the Celts.
