Just a thought. Which DLCs do you routinely switch off when starting a game?

Leading on from that question, is there anything to be gained from leaving Sunset Invasion on?

Finally, assuming you tend to play with all expansions active which starting year do you tend to favour?

Personally I leave SI on and have to consciously force myself from starting at the earliest opportunity.

No. I play with all.

You gain a challenge in the late-game and it is a try to balance the west to the east. In the far east there are so many hordes appearing and in the west there is nothing. But there is really no shame in deactivating SI

I like them all, especially the late-game starts are fun. CM start has it drawbacks but it can still be fun.
