Which DLC do you use?

Which DLC do most people use? How many of you actually play Sunset Invasion?
I use muslim dlc, east rome dlc, the unit packs, coat of arms and the appearance packs. Never really bought any of the songs, are they worth the money?

Got it all, use it all in single. But not all the time I reach the aztecs periode. When a dynasty is settled well, I quit the campaign.

The game (updated to 1.08 or whatever is the latest version when you ask yourself this question) without the DLCs contains anything you need to play in the west. IF you want to play muslim as well, get sword of islam, if you want to play orthodox rulers, get legacy of rome. sunset invasion is for those interested in a completely alternative, wacky scenario. I didn't get it either, but I bought all DLCs (including songs, portraits and so on).

Basically, even if I didn't wanted to play muslim or orthodox (and I did play a lot of byzantine empire scenarios even before LoR), I'd still want the main DLCs: SoI and LoR - because I want the AI to generate outcomes including those specifics included only in the DLC (muslims with multiple wives, better religious mechanics and events in the orthodox world, and others). The rest, I bought just to support their development and inclusion in the original game from now on.

I have LoR and several of the music packs, which I enjoy greatly. Don't find the retinues to be all that realistic, but then again having a situational awareness of Eurasia and North Africa any modern ruler would be jealous of isn't really accurate either so I relax and have fun (and the retinues quickly become an expensive addiction).

I have all and been using all. But the game I played with Castille, it was half way through the game so Aztecs didn't appear.

The new game as Rus, I have SI on. But it's still early days. Not sure if I'll have it on if I'm playing a western European kingdom.

It's a fantasy scenario, not really alternative history. But even if it was, three Mongol states with no attrition doomstacks are enough for me, I don't need another one.

For me it's because of Mongol's... I don't like the idea of Aztecs coming from west and Mongol's coming from east, that would be a mess. If there would be some easy way to disable Mongol's and enable Aztecs i would probably use SI more often. I know you can probably mod it but i don't know how :S

i have all content dlc, dont plan on using sunset invasion as a standard but currently have it enabled for the sake of trying it out. have all the cosmetical ones up untul the russian ones.

I have them all. Sunset invasion I use sometimes, mostly to cripple the west as much as the east. Also, it is funny to see the reversal of the europen conquest of america...

The Song DLCs... I like them... it gives a little flavour to the region you are playing, my favourite one is the Byzantine one.
