Well I'll play with Chile, to familiarize with the new characteristics. I'll try to push it to the Axis side, slowly create a professional army, a well balanced navy and a defensive air force with lots of naval squadrons and interceptors (remember USA huge navy and air force

I'll play as Sweden and keep good relations with both the UK and Germany in the early years, then swing whichever side seems to be winning after a few years.
Germany is crumbling? I'll depose Quisling and try to take a few desirable Norwegian provinces.
Soviets being ruthlessly double-teamed by Germany and Japan? I'll see if I can't take a chunk myself... and after that I'll let Finland know that I need a land connection to my newly-acquired territories, I'm sure Hitler will understand.

Sweden or Switzerland to get a feeling for the changes compared to HoI2. Then Germany - probadly often. After enough tries Italy and maybe Japan - if it´s not such a pain in the ass to supply troops on many, many islands as it was in HoI2.
Republican Spain. Just watched The Spanish Earth and feel the need to kick some fascist ass.

You know, Spain DOES sound good, of either side. Wonder if the Spanish Civil War will finally be fixed, countless patches and a game later?

Romania is a nice one to start with but very tricky with the economics side, so I will probably start with Germany.
Then Italy to get a better sense of the naval system, then Japan to go full out naval.

The peace-loving Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. And i'm looking forward to seeing how it the new changes play out in the 1941 scenario.
Ethiopia to see if it can hold out better this time. After that, the Netherlands to see if I can hold out with that.

I'll probably do a game as the Soviet Union to see how land combat works. Then I'll either give the Soviet Union another go, or try the USA to see how naval warfare works.
All of which is going to be practise for facing the challenge of taking control of the mighty United Kingdom of Great Britian and Ireland.

Oh, and I'll probably start as Austria and then lead the government-in-exile after the Anschluss. If that's possible.
