Greece, first of all.As a minor country it is close to action (Balkans) and it has a good army and navy to begin with.
After, probably Spain (lots of potentials,it can change the fate of war for both sides) and finally Germany.

The new ai and batle system needs time to learn it so let's take it slow in HOI 3!

And hope I don't go into exile at the impregnable fortress of Tannu Tuva.

That's exactly why I want to try Denmark!

Erm... Just wanted to point: we didn't have a government in exile. We where officially just "under the protection" of the Third Reich

For me its:
1st: Winter war - operation
2nd: Germany Campaign
3rd: Brit Campaign
4th: Germany again
5th: Japanese Campaign
6th: Italy Campaign

where would German govt go when/if they lose?historically there was no real partisan movement after SU and allies defeated them.

I'm pretty sure that a government can only go in an allied countryk, and only if they accept it, so that means the Nazis die when Germany falls (as long as Japan is not an ally). Either way heres my extremely logical order:

1. USSR in Winter War to understand simple combat in a simple campaign
2. USA in early campaign to understand politics, technology, unit building, and other stuff w/o actual combat
3. Japan in some naval scenario to understand navy
4. Germany in Fall Rot (France) to understand combined arms operations in a limited campaign

I've promised myself that when the game is installed (witch will be a highlight this year!) I'll start off at normal/normal with Germany 1936. And then play it all the way through...

I think I'm lying to myself here...I'll be like: "Blast! Should'nt have done that stupid reckless thing I did in 1942..." :D

Presumably tutorials will be included, so hopefully these will be an improvement on previous ones. If so, I'll try the last two or three to see what new goodies have been included. When it comes to the main campaigns, however, the Empire in '36 is the only choice - give Jerry a damn good thrashing. :eek:o :D

Hm... I never did play the Commonwealth nations in the previous games, but they seem like a good way to get the hang of stuff again.

Australia most likely, perhaps Canada or South Africa.

hm... Fascist Australi.. No, no! Commie Australia! Yes, nothing can go wrong with that! Liberating all of Asia from European, American and Japanese Imperialism!

Good lord. I hope you change your flag then - I wouldn't want to be associated with Pan-Asia communists. :eek:o

No, no, no! It can be even better! Forget the commies, keep HM's Loyal Government or whatever it's called, but make them aware of that simple, obvious fact - Australia's security depends on her (and Britain's) control of the Seas. But the relevant Seas in the East are much more vast than in Europe, so the forces to protect them must be fast as well as powerful.

Australia, motherland of the Battlecruisers! From Singapore to Guam, from Port Moresby to Yokohama, the HMAS Kangaroo, HMAS Emu and others of their class, strike everywhere, at lightening speed!
