Burgundy! >_< (with me playing as France/Dauphie)
One moment they are almost beaten and without allies and the next moment they have gotten 4-5 more provs and are allied to my every neighbouring country. And every time I manage to beat and take all their provs, suddenly they pop up having one prov in middle of nowhere and out of my reach.

China's rebellions are bad, but you can have fun for 2 centuries before that, and once you survive the White Lotus, it's clear sailing. The Timurids have horrific rebellions, but your reward for surviving them is to become the Mughals.
Japan is the one I didn't enjoy. Rebellion after rebellion, with no end in sight. You don't have any BB? No expansion? Doesn't matter. I just got tired of watching my armies lose ....
I've never tried Dakota or Kongo, but I imagine they're pretty exciting :wacko:

France, France, France and France, they are the big baddies in 90% of my games. Any nation that takes them on will often get funding from me. Also Dakota its an extremely effective lesson in boredom

I don't like Austria and other major powers declaring war on me. Zimbabwe is another counry I dislike, their unknown lands and attrition makes them hard to conquer.

Then we have the Indian traders who always kick my traders out of Tenochtitlan, even though I own the place and are several trade levels before them.

I wouldn't say I hate Denmark... annexing them is so much fun! :rofl:

As for nations to play, I don't like the Chinese revolts. The first time I had quite an empire, land connection to Calcutta and so on. Then the events hit me and I lost eveything.

i hate most in this order for AI
1. france (i'm english)
2. poland/lithuania (i've lived in russia for a while)
3. ottomans (its hell being byzantium against them)
4. austria (always annexing me when i'm a german minor)
for playing i can't stand being
1. any non-europeans except china (they're so boring!!)
2. any german or italian minors (it always ends in tears, see above)
3. denmark (we start fine then sweden turns against you, it's all downhill from there)
4. montenegro (ragusa) ottomans always kill me
