The Papal System with Fmaily ties to the Pope - I like the Clerically Education conscription when my 3rd sons got some Bishopric
Cannonisation/Sainthood

Consagunity Laws
Scutage as a slider so during times of peace I can ask for coin in place of levies

Leave the Naval System

The price of Levies could be crippling as a vassle and the king took yours

How when you took a loan you got money leanders in your province with the tax bonus plus peity hit
How the Holy orders could set up chapter houses in your provinces
Road as a county improvement( I always felt If I could road my Kingdom it was a sign of greatness)

Terrain affect troop composition - take or leave but I liked the concept that Moutians you had less knights and forests encouraged more archers

Pros of the old naval system:
Cons of the old naval system:
Armies just turned to ships once they touched the water (no need for transports).

yeah but since the "transport" system actually implemented is pointless and unintuitive as hell, well removing it shouldn't be a great loss.

on OP now.
-friends/rivals system
-papal controller was clearly biased but still better than no influence on papacy and pope magically generated just sucks a lot
-on map technologie spread notifications
-province view showing the buildings
-troops cost
-sea attrition
-stability factor that dissuade you to warring too much (but the "realm duress" linked with was quite annoying)
-pagan resistance

@Grave digger: Funny, it's one of the aspects I miss the absolute most. I loved planning years ahead for a war, and still go broke fighting it.
It was realistic as well.. Now you can lead 30k+ armies in the field for years on end, and never go broke.

I do suspect however that this won't be changed back :(

I agree that the current system is worse. But something in between would be best.

I agree with you, it would be fun if warfare is made more expensive, but some gameplay fun will be lost if they make it ruinous.

it would only make player think a bit more about his capacities and strategic plans.
problem is maybe more on AI side because of the removal of the AI-never-got-broke cheat
