I'm a megalomaniac first and foremost when it to HoI.
This thread is about collecting ideas for "all-out x with nation y" approaches with the x standing for the type of construction you have in mind.
I'll start with an example:
"All-out U-Boats with Germany"
In Darkest Hour I successfully employed the strategy of starving Britain into defeat with an almighty U-Boat fleet by 1941/42. I had about 500 U-Boats (don't remember how many flotillas that translates into, the number is from the ledger). Historically Doenitz deemed 300 U-Boats necessary. I'd say that starving Britain with 500 U-Boats is quite realistic if you have them way before the US-entry that is.
For HoI 4 I will try a similar strategy. The new distinction between naval and non-naval IC will make it necessary to first invest heavily in expansion of the dockyards, then mass production combined with tech-rushing of submarines.
The goal is to beat Poland and France with less land units than historically because of the early IC-diversion into dockyard-expansion and the later resource-diversion towards submarines.
The U-boat force will have to be available in numbers by 1939 to immediately pack a punch to cripple Britain before the US can come to their defence.
The strategy will be extremely risky because Fall Weiß and Gelb might fail and render the U-Boat menace moot.
----------------------------------------------
"All-out carpet bombing with UK"
Land warfare will be purely defensive. Shift some troops to El-Alamein in 1936 and fortify it, garrison the Suez ports. That's basically everything. Now focus entirely on strategic bombing (ministers, tech and doctrines) and build a massive strategic bomber force. The key will be to have long-range escorts early. Once the war breaks out, hit Germany in full-force to cripple her IC from the get-go. Maybe it will even be enough to prevent Germany from beating France. Turn Fall Gelb into a WW1-style battle of attrition which Germany can't win.
