I would play Canada as long as the UK has a decent AI......, Here's a thought!...could you possibly play two countries at once?....like UK and Canada?

Seeing how Canada isnt much management compared to the major nations.

I think not. Unfortunately.
Thats what I hoped most also for HOI1. Playing Axis vs. Allies for example with 2 players.

I'd think the answer to that question would be no...unless they've changed things quite a bit since HOI.

However, you can in a way do it if you play the UK and take military control over the Canadian units (easily done, at least in HOI)...then you control Canada in all aspects except research, production and diplomacy (the last shouldn't matter that much though).
