Where to start with CK2?

I would like a few suggestions on what to start playing with. No too hard and not too complex (=large) for learning but still playing something fun.

I have never played CK before, but I have many games with EU behind me.

Start as an Irish duke or count, it's not called trial island for no reason

Start as something easy maybe The Holy Roman Empire or Poland or Noway or maybe Sweden you should really play what fancies you the most.

Play the tutorial, then start as William the Bastard in September 1066.

No he wil be at war with Norway from the start Xwarq that aint a easy job for someone starting.

HRE is too much micro management from the start (?). Poland seems fun, but perhaps the same.

Irish duke, Scottish- or Danish king. Poland and bigger kingdoms are too complex to start with due to the vassals revolting and plotting. Do absolutely not start with an empire as the HRE or Byzanthium. If you do, you'll see the game over screen soon enough and left without a clue bout why that happend Just start small.
