Where to extract the vanilla road textures?

I want to do some re-painting on the vanilla roads and the one from Network Extension. The NExt ones were easy to find, but how do I get the normal textures of the reoads and how can I re-integrate them to the game?

I don't want to change the behaviour or add new ones, for now I just want to paint.
Most mods I investigated add roads and don't work with NExt (any more).

With Mod Tools Scene explorer, search for NetCollection using the second search field.
