I can't seem to find it anywhere. Before you say "wiki" let me say that I don't believe the wiki has the detail yet to support the player who is learning/not experienced with Paradox games, especially since the game just came out. I know that some parts of the manuals are outdated soon by patches, but the core of the mechanics and, most importantly, the interface, usually doesn't change much.

If Paradox has made the decision not to bother with the manual many players will give up and tire of doing web searches just to find out how the game works. Maybe not important to some, but that means that Paradox will sell less DLC because players who could have become hooked on Stellaris have given up early and deleted it from their hard drives in frustration.

Just a thought.

As with all PDS games, nothing beats playing the game itself, reading the wiki and asking on the forums. Before wikis were a thing, most of us did the other 2.
Wrong. As with all Paradox games nothing beats reading the manual and this game REALLY needs one. The lack of one here is the exception that proves the rule. Wikis are almost useless - incomplete and poorly organized. Most importantly, they are not available offline where most of us study (and play) the game.

Manuals are obsolete. Irregardless, if people had them, reading it isn't going to teach them how to play Stellaris, let alone CK2.

Not having internet isn't the problem of a wiki.

I didn't even start playing HOI 3 before reading the manual and strategy guide. I only do that with paradox games, due to their complexity. A newcomer will have a lot of queries on how to play a paradox game.

maintaining an updated manual of a paradox game is impossible with the current dlc policy.

i remember 2 or 3 youtubers saying that they thought about making a guide series for a paradox game but then they discarded the project since any guide would be useless after 3 months.

the wiki, with those "updated up to" is the best solution.
