Long time ago we had the 'full annex' button in the peace window. Nowadays you have to manaully found all provinces. This can be really tendious to do, especially for colonizers. I want to full annex the main country, but somewhere they still have 1 provinces and i just couldnt find this province. As result i am not able to fully annex the nation. Adding back the 'full annexation' button would solve this issue.

I have no idea why this button is taken out of the game. It was a really useful feature.

Note: In this example i already went through the list of provinces in the peace deal multiple times. But i am not able to found the last province for some reason. According to the peace window making them my vassal cost 6% warscore, so i expect them to still have 2 provinces somewhere. I have no idea on how to found this provinces.

Perhaps they have provinces occupied by someone else in a seperate war so you can't full annex them

Turned out they had 3 provinces next to their Mexican CN. But for some reason their total cost went up during the war. I already had some provinces selected in the peace deal, but for some reason that became 115% warscore at some point... My admin effiency didnt degrees, so i have no idea what happened... So it doesnt really matter that i missed these provinces in the end. I do need a second war.

Don't worry it will be added back in as part of an upcoming DLC. :)

Great!

Great!

Province warscore can and do vary depending on if you have occupied it or not. Some of the factors that influence a province's cost are: base trade power; local autonomy; development.

They could have started new colonies?

I may be wrong but don't new colonies cost a meager amount of WS? They are generally low Dev land that isn't a core yet.

That's true. But lately I did notice some massive development numbers on North American Natives, 20-30 development is nothing special. So either that or maybe Spain finished a war?

Native Americas deving like crazy is nothing new. NA tribes get to reform their government quite easily so they end up dumping all of their MP on Dev.

I was talking about ongoing colonies.

Assuming that by found all provinces, it was meant {finding} all the provinces for conquest as in the second sentence of the quote, instead of founding a province;

During a war, check the diplomacy map mode, while as the player, selecting any province of own tag (so click any of the player's provinces in the diplomacy map mode during war).

That will show with whom the player is at war by marking the provinces of the enemy with a distinguishing red. Zoom out, and one can spot all the provinces of the enemy, provided that they are in the visible parts of the map, meaning the player discovered all the provinces of the enemy.

i already went through the list of provinces in the peace deal multiple times
If the OP is certain on the list, then unfortunately it means that the player has not discovered all the provinces of the target, and naturally cannot fully annex it (but vassalisation is still possible, with the undiscovered parts staying as before, another damning result). Make sure to steal maps before starting a war on a target that is in the undiscovered part of the map.

Otherwise, the remaining possibility is as @Battlex posted
Perhaps they have provinces occupied by someone else in a seperate war so you can't full annex them

On the other hand, yes, the fully annex option (with its bugs fixed) would be very useful; a pity that it was dropped out.

Edit: Corrected the last quote.

You can annex provinces into the TI. Pretty sure about it. You cant click on them on the map, but you can select them in the peace deal window. I have got provinces in this run where i could only see the provinces and the sea tile. All connected sea tiles where in TI.

In the end they had just 3 provinces next to the Mexican CN, but just outside that area. So while going through the provinces i just thought they where part of their Mexican CN. So in the end i found the provinces. But it was pretty tedious. Those provinces could be hard to spot.

I also notice this for a second time. This time i wanted to fully annex spain. They had even more CNs and more provinces compared to England. In the end i missed just one province: Tenerife.

Adding back the 'full annexation' button will solve the tedious job to found the last province of a nation with lots of CNs.

Interesting. Will check one of the previous buganda or busoga runs; as far as recalled, could not take some of the provinces in funj, or kanem bornu, etc. due to terra incognita; must be caused by other reasons, then.

After all those years, still learning a new aspect. Sincerely grateful for the reply.
