Where is the best place to pre-order...in USA

I have pre-ordered games in the past from amazon and had to wait for a few days while I read the game forums about how others where already enjoying their copy of the game.

Is there a place known for expediency in this area? Thanks for any suggestions.

I played the beta enough to know that I am going to buy. Hope they straighten out the login password problem they have been experiencing on the open beta.

I pre-ordered at EB Games in the US. I may change that if the pc East India Company game comes here to Canada. But the EB Games link for US pre-order is below.

I generally order from direct2drive and have the game instantly once it's released. Don't bother with boxed copies anymore. Just clutters up everything around my computer desks...
