Where is the alchemy and experimenting with medicines in Hermetic society that was advertised?

All of these alchemy ingredients, lots of gold down the drain building a lab, lots of teasing about creating potions to improve heirs and stuff, and no option anywhere for brewing potions or doing anything with these ingredients. Is it bugged, or is there really no alchemy as advertised?

This is not an isolated case, everyone I have asked who have also tried the Hermetic society have had the same problem.

I'm also wondering why I'm cluttering my treasury with Cloven Hooves and Hearts when I'm not seeing options to do anything with them, nor is their usage clearly mentioned anywhere.

At the very least if I'm collecting ambiguously useless items, don't have them make it difficult to look at my actual artifacts and possessions in my armoury.

I just went through every Hermetic event and decisions in the text files and found nothing that seems to use the ingredients. There are options and related events for astrology with the stargazing thing, but there is no alchemy as it would appear in the game. I feel cheated now unless the devs somehow forgot to include any events/decisions for the alchemy ingredients.

Hopefully this is a bug and not a huge oversight. The expansion is already extremely light on content, if they forgot to finish a society's mechanics that'd be quite disappointing.

So I have yet to reach the 1200s but there have been 5 welsh maguses and not a single alchemy event. Lots of stars were observed, divine spirits summoned, and laboratories raided, but I have only collected ingredients. Choosing a hermetic art seems to have 0 affect on anything.

I've also played about 80 years as a few hermetic rulers, with no ingredients used. There's a similar thread on the CkII reddit, and nobody there has any clue, either. Except that maybe the event that allows you to create an invention might use ingredients, but I believe that is also false.

I did a quick scan of the events and decisions, and they aren't referenced at all by any decisions, and the only events referencing them give them rather than requiring or consuming the.

Maybe the next bugfix patch will contain the line "Oops, we forgot a file, rendering half the items useless"
That would be the dream. I am honestly loving Hermetics anyway, but my OCD can't handle the incompleteness in its current state. Being able to brew all sorts of potions might make them decent in comparison to the fully fleshed out Satanists. Satanists can cure themselves of any disease, while a Magus can only make themselves feel happier. I actually thought with all the hints that it might actually be possible to brew an elixir of life or create a philosopher's stone.

The lack of any dev responses in that regard is a bit concerning. I think the chances that the devs "forgot" to put a whole feature in a rather slim, to be honest.
